1.5 million euro and 170 million dollars missing in Belarusian budget

The Belarusian budget has lost more than 1.5 million euro of income tax. The reason for it was the imperfect law on import and realization of cars. The State Control Committee counted that the budget also lacked more than 170 million dollars of customs duties.

The SCC was not satisfied with the fact that the existing legislation gave physical entities a possibility to import cars per procurationem of other people who did not leave the country to buy them.

It’s not the first time the State Control Committee has proposed to “wind up” this “profitable business”.
