15:18 Independent internet project launched by youth in Hrodna
An independent youth Internet-based project titled Your Style was today launched in the western Belarusian city of Hrodna. The local youth are now able to edit their own virtual newspaper and to produce the uncensored radio programming.
According to Vitaut Rudnikа, the project manager, the Your Style web-based project is open to every resident of the city to take part in editing the on-line newspaper, which has come out today for the first time. The programming for the Internet-based radio is already being prepared by the local youth.
The editorial office of the Your Style project currently comprises the students of the local Young Journalist school, but it is soon to launch a series of master classes in journalism basics. The new recruits will become the correspondents for the Your Style newspaper and the radio, accordin to Vitaut Rudnik, reports ERB's correspondent Ales Zaleuski in Hrodna.
