22.4 million dollars to be spent on preparation of our sportsmen for London Olympics
22.4 million dollars will be spent on the preparation of our sportsmen for the Olympics-2012 this year. The number is included in the budget-2010.
Let us remind you that our sportsmen won 19 medals at the last Summer Olympics in Beijing. 4 of them were gold and 5 – silver. Belarusians were most successful in rowing, track and field athletics and weightlifting. Our team took the 16th position in the general medal table.
