Alcohol, tobacco producers on Top-30 tax payers list
30 biggest tax payers in Belarus has contributed 42 percent of the budget revenues in the first half of 2007 (35,95 percent in 2006; 26.85 percent in 2004), writes BelGazeta.
The Mozyr oil refinery traditionally tops the list with 5.63 percent of the country's tax revenues.
Naftan refinery is the second with 4.88 percent. Triple is a newcomer this year taking the 20th position on the list. Beltransgaz paid more taxes half as much against the previous year up to 4.27 percent.
5 alcohol distillers with 2.66 percent of Belarus's national revenues and two tobacoo factories are also on the TOP-30 list. Mobile communication providors Velcom and МТS take the 13th and 15th positions, correspondingly.
The giants like Atlant, Homselmash, Belarus Railways, Minsk Engine Works, Brestenerga and others have left TOP-30 in the first half of this year.
