"Battle of Vorsha" festival scheduled on September 11

The bard festival dedicated to anniversary of the battle of Vorsha will take place on the weekend which is the closest to September 8. This year it will be September 11, informed one of the founders of the festival Juras Kopstik, to the European Radio for Belarus. At present moment Andrej Melnikau and the young author and singer Nata Pushkarova confirmed their participation in the festival. The festival is open for performers and visitors.

Koptsik: "The festival will take place traditionally on the weekend which is the closest to the date of September 8 - you can check the calendar, that this year it will be September 11. We do not have auditions and jury - the list of performers is open..."

Let us remind you that the bard festival "Battle of Vorsha" is conducted annually at the Krapivenskae field near Vorsha. It is dedicated to the day of Belarusian Military Glory - victory of the troops of the Great Duchy of Lithuania over the troops of the Moscow Duchy on September 8, 1514.
