Belarus to restore benefits for households with water meters

Belarus plans to restore water fee benefits for those who paid their own money to install water meters in their apartments, Belarus's Housing and Utilities Minister Uladzimir Bukhvostau said today while answering questions from legislators.
This benefit is envisaged in a resolution of the Council of Ministers, he noted.

Now that benfits are abolished in this country, the government is pushing for amendments to the current legislation in order to have this benefit restored, Minister said. He added that the issue should be resolved in the coming couple of weeks, reports Belta.
