Belarusian gold and exchange currency reserves exceeded 3 billion dollars

The gold and exchange currency reserves of Belarus have reached 3 billion 66 million dollars at the beginning of the month, noted the press-secretary of the National Bank Mihail Zhuravovich.
He stressed that the money spent to pay for Russian gas in August has been completely compensated by buying currency at the foreign exchange market  and by the increase of the National Bank’s assets on the government’s deposits.
