Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires suggests conducting independent expertise of “Pole’s card”

The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires is worried about the law “Pole’s card” adopted in Poland. The Ministry thinks that the law may cause international dissention in our country.

The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires stressed that “it was adopted in Poland without consulting our state” although there were suggestions of the kind made by Belarus.

Belarus suggests conducting an independent expertise of the law to find out if it agrees with international standards and to impose a moratorium on it until then, reports “Interfax”.

Let us remind you that “Pole’s cards” will be given to all Poles living in former Soviet republics if they can prove that they originate from Poland. They will get certain benefits, in particular, discounts for medical services and education and will be able to get free Polish visas.
