Belarusian National Banks sold almost 3 thousand diamonds to people over 2 years
The National Banks of the Republic of Belarus has sold 2983 diamonds weighing 515.25 carats. “Interfax” informs about it referring to the information department of the National Bank. The National Bank made more than Br1.838 billion on the jewels. It is about $856 thousand.
The National Banks started selling certificates in December 2005. Diamonds weighing 0.05-2.52 carats were for sale.
