Bus with Minsk Region Executive Committee officials turns over near Minsk
A “Mercedes” bus turned over in the 70th kilometer of Minsk-Mikashevichy highway. There were 30 employees of Minsk Region Executive Committee including the senior deputy head Victar Shchatsko in it.
“Daily” informs that the delegation of Minsk Region Executive Committee followed by a car of the driving inspectorate was heading for Lyuban. A meeting dedicated to the regional “Dazhynki” festival had to take place there.
The driver of a Volkswagen Touran did not obey to driving inspectors whose car was using red and blue lights and did not give way to the official delegation’s bus in the 70th kilometer of the highway. The bus driver tried to avoid collision, headed for the ditch and the bus turned over.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, six people were injured – 5 bus passengers and the driver of the Volkswagen. They have been delivered to Slutsk hospital.
