Culture minister wants Yelizaryev back at Opera and Ballet Theater?

Valentin Yelizaryev and Margarita Izvorska-Yelizaryeva are expected at the stage of the National Academic Grand Opera and Ballet Theater, Belarus' first deputy culture minister Uladzimir Rylatka said on ONT's Kontury show on Sunday.
These creative personalities have many years of fruitful work at the country's main stage ahead of them, the official news agency Belta quoted Rylatka as saying.

Last week, Yelizaryev held a news conference to announce his resignation from the post of the art director at the Grand Ballet Theater. Yelizaryev said he had to resign because he was denied the post of the general director after the merger of the ballet and opera theaters into one company. He was offered to keep the post of the art director only after 17 years of running the ballet theater as the director.

His resignation letter was approved by the culture minister, which has now made a U-turn, asking Yelizaryev to return, because "actors are waiting for their favorite master".
