Diesel fuel siphoned off from pipeline in northern Belarus
Authorities in the Miyory district in the northern Belarus yesterday detected a leakage of diesel from the Unecha-Ventspils pipeline. Investigators determined that the fuel was siphoned off by unidentified perpetrators. A three-ton drum was found near the location of the leak. It was half full, reports Belta.
Rescuers have said they have already collected 15 tons of the spilled fuel. They insist there is no threat to environment and the public health.
