Drug supply chain from Russia has been shut off at Minsk railway station. The drug courier has been detained. The 30-year-old Belarusian has brought 90 grams of a highly dangerous synthetic drug substance - metamorphine - on a train from St.Petersburg to Minsk. The detained has served criminal responsibility for storing psychotropic substances before. Now he is facing up to 13 years of imprisonment with confiscaton of property, informs Belteleradiocompany.
Andrej Saladounikau, the head of the department on drug control of Minsk region Administration of Internal Affairs, informed that the courier had bought the drugs in St.Petersburg from an unknown person. He paid 1400 dollars there, and would have sold the drugs here for 10 000 dollars.
