Football: Belarus champions' head coach sent off for cursing

BATE Borisov manager Viktar Hancharenka was sent off the pitch on the 57th minute of the semi-final Belarus Cup match with MTZ-RIPA from Minsk. "The coach was told to leave the pitch, but I can only guess for what. The side official called the referee and told him something. Apparently, BATE manager used obsene comments towards the official... The coach is still young and hot...", MTZ-RIPA coach Yury Puntus told the European Radio for Belarus.

Viktar Наncharenka, 31 took over BATE Borisov in November 2007.

When Hancharenka was sent off, the sides were level 2:2. After the incident, the visitors MTZ-RIPA sent home two more goals to secure 4:2 victory.
