Gazprom, Belarus reach gas transit deal for 2010
The Russian energy giant Gazprom and the Belarusian government have reached a deal on the transit of the Russian natural gas in 2010, reports Ria Novosti quoting Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller. According to Miller, the terms of transit were agreed in a telephone conversation with Belarus officials and Beltransgaz. The conditions will be stipulated in a special attachment to the contract. The amendments will be drawn up by Gazprom's deputy CEO, because Miller will be on a summer leave from June 26.
