Homel inhabitants couldn't conduct an anti-Lukashenka agitation meeting yesterday

Homel activists Uladzimir Siakerka and Valery Klimau could not conduct a meeting with voters aimed at anti-Lukashenka agitation yesterday, reports Radio Liberty.

About 20 people gathered near the center of official trade unions at 4 p.m. These people knew a meeting was supposed to take place there.

Being a person who had applied for the meeting to be held, Uladzimir Siakerka told the people that although the law allowed conducting meetings with voters aimed at agitation against Lukashenka, the election commission had prohibited it.

The Chairman of the Central district presidential election commission Andrej Harbachou answered to the activists' questions that December 12 was a Sunday, thus, "it was a day-off for all the emloyees of the mentioned establishment".
