Hrodna judge rejects appeal by worker sacked over participation in parliamentary race

A Hrodna Regional Court judge has rejected the request by Masty district government elected official Zmitser Kukhley to order executives at a local woodworking company to reinstate him to his old job.
Kukhley was sacked from Mastydreu after he had run in last year's parliamentary race.

A district judge declared his dismissal illegal but stopped short of ordering the company to reinstate him.

Kukhley told ERB that he will take his appeal to the Supreme Court.
