Ihnalinskaya nuclear power plant is suspended due to turbogenerator stoppage

Ihnalinskaya nuclear power plant was suspended on Tuesday night. One of its turbogenerators was supposed to be stopped but the other one suddenly stopped too. It means energy could no longer be produced.
The reason for the stoppage of the other turbogenerator that was supposed to function until the end of this week is still being investigated. It is not clear whether the automatically stopped generator will be launched again.

The preliminary repairs of both turbogenerators are expected to be finished by the end of September.
