Insurances paid to families of crashed Belarus fighter pilots

Promtransinvest insurance company has paid insurances to the families of Alexander Marfitski and Alexander Zhuraulevich, the pilots of Belarus Air Force jet fighter SU-27 which crashed during an air show in Poland on August 30. Each family received $30,000, reports Belapan.

Before the doomed flight to Poland, the aircraft was insured for $870,000, but the insurance company is yet to get some technical documents from the military.

The causes of the accident have not yet been revealed by Belarus defense ministry.
