Justice Ministry wants opposition parties responsible for September 28 street protest
The Ministry of Justice of Belarus has demanded some political parties to explain the participation of their representatives in the unauthorized protest action last Sunday, reports Іnterfax. The Justice Ministry maintains the action was held in violation of the laws on public events and public order.
Justice officials seek to get explanations why some leaders of political parties took part in the action and used the symbols of those political organizations.
Viktar Ivashkevich, a deputy chairman of the Popular Front, told Belapan news agency that no official notices were received by his party as of September 29. We got similar responses from Anatol Lyabedzka (United Civic Party) and Valery Ukhnalyou (Party of Communists).
