Kremlin dismisses media reports about Putin's union presidency as speculations

A source in the Kremlin has described the media speculations about Putin to become the president of the Belarus-Russian union state as "speculative fantasies", reports Interfax. The process of integration is very multi-faceted and complex, and the both sides are involved in this process. But such reports bring nothing but misunderstanding, the Interfax quotes the Kremlin source as saying.

Meanwhile, Boris Gryzlov, the leader of the United Russia party, said that the date of signing the Constitutional Act of the 'union state' was not yet determined. This issue is not planned to be on agenda of the upcoming visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Minsk.
