Mіlіnkevіch initiates creation of steering committee of “Chernobyl Way-2008”
The leader of the movement “For Freedom” Alyaksandr Milinkevich has initiated the creation of a steering committee necessary to organize “Chernobyl Way” on April 26. "Chernobyl Way is getting a new topicality - that is why I’m initiating it”, -stressed the politician. According to Milinkevich, people are worried about changes in the legislation aimed at depriving migrants, invalids and liquidators of consequences of the Chernobyl disaster of their benefits.
He thinks that “Chernobyl Way-2008” will further the development of the campaign against the construction of a nuclear power plant in Belarus.
According to Alyaksandr Milinkevich’s press service, the leader of the movement “For Freedom” has invited civil activists and politicians to support the initiative and join the steering committee.
