Military station welcomes signature collectors with empty venue

A military unit in Hrodna invited representatives of Rymasheuski's nomination group to collect signatures among soldiers. Five members of the nomination group showed up at the military station on time and were politely welcomed by unit's commanders.

However, no soldier turned out in the venue to sign within one hour.

A source in the unit later told activists that all privates had been ordered to remain in barracks and while BCD's activists were waiting in an empty venue, reports the press office of the Belarusian Christian Democracy
