Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Belarus and Ukraine strengthened ties during independence period
Ukraine and Belarus have a great potential and all opportunities to develop versatile relations. The deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Andrei Eudachenka claimed it at the begging of a festive reception and a concert dated for the Independence Day in Ukraine, informs BelaPAN. According to Eudachenka, Belarus and Ukraine have managed not only to preserve, but also to multiple and strengthen their bilateral relations during the period of independence. He noted that a political dialogue, economic relations, business and personal contacts were rapidly developing between the states.
In his turn, the Ukrainian Ambassador Roman Bessmertny noted that Ukraine actively cooperated with Belarus during 19 years of its independence and the countries had established conscientious and mutually beneficial relations.
