Minsk enterprises do not raise a claim against participant of the action that took place on January 10
Participants of the action that took place on January 10 – Mihail Subach, Pavel Vinahradau and Maxim Dashuk – have not pleaded guilty. The hearing of their case is taking place in Minsk Central District Court today, on May 26, reports BelaPAN.
Let us remind you that more than three thousand people took part in the action on January 10. 27 people were detained and 23 of them had to stand trial.
The public prosecutor claimed that the young people violated the civil order, participated in an unauthorized meeting, did not obey to the police and blocked part of Independence Avenue on January 10, 2008.
According to the prosecution, Minsk enterprises lost 124 million 800 thousand roubles due to the actions.
The accused refused to give evidence and the judge listened to witnesses. Representatives of Minsk enterprises and “Minsktrans” claimed that they were not going to raise claims against participants of the meeting. In particular, a representative of the “Central” supermarket claimed that she would not demand any reparation of damages.
