Minsk “Yunatstva” becomes leader of Belarusian hockey championship

Five matches of another tour of the Belarusian hockey open championship took place on Monday.
The most important match took place in Salihorsk where two favorites met – “Shahtsyor” and Minsk “Yunatstva”.

Minsk hockey players celebrated their victory – 2:0. Both goals were scored in the third quarter.

The other results were the following: “Vitsebsk” defeated “Brest” in a home match – 3:2, “Homel” defeated Riga “Dinamo-Juniors” – 6:2, “Keramin” was stronger than “Himvalakno” – 4:2, “Himik-SKA” lost to “Neman” after penalty shots – 1:2, Kiev “Sokol” was better than Liepa “Metalurgs” – 2:1.

Thanks to the victory over “Shahtsyor”, “Yunatstva” has left the Salihorsk team behind in the tournament rating and occupies the first position now. Minskers have 21 points. The second position is shared by “Sokol” and “Shahtsyor” with 18 points. Brest is still at the end of the rating. Matches of the next tour will take place on Thursday, September 24, reports BelTA.
