Myasnіkovіch promises Venezuelans to reserve 10% of post-graduate course places in Academy of Sciences for them
The Belarusian National Academy of Sciences is ready to reserve 10% of post-graduate course places for Venezuelan students every year.
The head of the presidium of the Academy Mihail Myasnokovich informed about it during a meeting with a delegation of scientists from Venezuela in Minsk on July 4.
Myasnikou made the announcement in response to the request of the head of the Venezuelan delegation, Minister of Science and Technology Luis Markana, who asked Belarus to continue cooperation with Venezuela in the field of education of Venezuelan specialists.
Markana noted that about 70 thousand students have graduated from Venezuelan universities and about 20% of them would like to continue their studies abroad, namely in Belarus.
Myasnіkovіch noted that the Academy of Sciences accepted about 200 people of 25 or 30 professions to its post-graduate courses every year.
