"New Life" believers do not let rescue workers in their church again

Believers of the Protestant Church "New Life" once again refused to let the representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in their church building.
According to BelaPAN, the fire inspectors claimed they would check the building in order to prevent any emergency situations. They thought they would find many violations of fire safety rules in the church building, as it was not designed for civic use and did not meet fire safety requirements. The Pastor of the Church Viachaslau Hancharenka declared his wish to cooperate with the rescue workers. However, he reminded them that the believers did not let any officials in as a protest against illegal court decisions for three years and asked to postpone the visit of the fire inspectors.

According to "New Life" lawyer Siarhej Lukanin, the believers had consulted fire safety specialists when they reconstructed the building. The church is now equipped with safety materials, there is a sufficient amount of fire-extinguishers in the building. There are also five exits from the hall where believers get together, all of them are open during church services.
