No investigative action conducted with former members of “White Legion”

There was no investigative action conducted with the detained former members of the “White Legion Organization” being kept in the confinement cell in Akrestsina Street in Minsk. Nina Shydlouskaya, the wife of one of the detained – Miraslau Lazouski – informed ERB about it. Let us remind you that the guys were detained in connection with the explosion that had taken place on July 4. Nina Shydlouskaya says:

"I am coordinating and collecting information about four detained people. Let me remind you that they are Syarzhuk Chyslau, Mіraslau Lazouskі, Іhar Korsak and Vіctar Lyashchynskі. Their lawyers had no information in the morning [on Monday]… There was no investigative action conducted at the week-end. So they did not summon their lawyers”.

Besides the mentioned guys, Іllya Bohdan, Anton Koipіsh and Tatstsyana Pyakun were also detained in connection with this case. Other UCP members were detained and sentenced to 10 and 15 days of arrest for “hooliganism”.

A UCP activist Alyaksandr Serhienka, an activist of the “European Belarus” campaign Pavel Kuryanovich and the leader of an unregistered party Belarusian Party of Freedom Syarhei Vysotski were let off from KGB confinement cell on July 12.
