Obama and Komorowski appeal for free election in Belarus
The Presidents of Poland and the United States appealed to conduct free and fair election in Belarus. This is declared in the common statement of Barack Obama and Bronisław Komorowski, adopted in Washington on December 8 upon the results of negotiations between the leaders of the states and published at the Poland's President's web-site, reports BelaPAN.
It is said in the statement that President Komorowski and President Obama underlined their full support of the EU's initiative "Eastern Partnership". Apart from that, the USA and Poland declared they supported the consistent policy of strengthening relations with Russia.
