PACE Political Affairs Committee to discuss situation in Belarus on November 18
Another session of the the Political Affairs Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will take place in Paris on November 18.
According to BelaPAN, the agenda includes the issue of situation in Belarus. PACE's main speaker on Belarus Sinika Hurskeinen is expected to present her report at the session. She visited Belarus in August.
After that there will be a discussion participated by the representative of the Council of Republic of Belarus Jauhen Smirnou and the Co-Chairman of the "Belarusian Christian Democracy" party, a potential presidential candidate Vital Rymasheuski.
Apart from that, the special correspondent of the "Narodnaya Gazeta" Andrej Babak and the Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Association of Journalists Andrej Aliaksandrau wil also take part in the discussion.
