Police forbid Nyaklyaeu's activists to watch football

41 "Tell the Truth" activists couldn't watch the football game between Belarus and Romania. They were detained at the entrance to the stadium before the game started.
This was informed to the European Radio for Belarus by the Press-Secretary of the "Tell the Truth" campaign Julia Rymasheuskaya:

Rymasheuskaya: "The majority of detentions happened at the stands. Policemen approached youngsters asking to unlock zips on their jackets. If they saw a T-shirt with "Tell the Truth" logo, or anything with the word "truth" (as there were a lot of different T-shirts with such texts), they detained people and drove them to the Leninski police department".

According to Rymasheuskaya, the policemen treated Aleh Miatselitsa brutally. Another guy who refused to give his fingerprints had his shirt torn by the policemen. The detained have been kept in the police department for 5 hours and released without charges.

Rymasheuskaya underlined that the activists planned no action during this football match. She is convinced that it was the fact they kept together which had drawn the police's attention.
