The Press Secretary of Sannikau's initiative group Aliaksandr Atroshchankau faces up to 15 years of imprisonment for participation in mass disturbance. Now he is in the KGB prison. His wife Daria Korsak has informed about this to Euroradio. She told that the apartment where atroshchankau stayed was broken into. The KGB investigator told Daria that Atroshchankau could be imprisoned for up to 15 years.
Korsak: “They broke into our apartment yesterday. He was at his parents' place. We have been looking for him for the whole day. Only in the evening the KGB investigator called us and said we needed to fetch him a lawyer. I called him back later and he said it was article 293 part 1 and 2, and added there were many people”.
The maximal term of imprisonment according to the article 293 is 15 years. It is possible that the lawyer will meet with Aliaksandr Atroshchankau today, says Daria Korsak.
