Democratic activist Vadzim Kabanchuk to stand trial today
Vadzim Kabanchuk was delivered to the detention center at Akrestsina Street in Minsk at about 7 p.m. on February 4.
A member of the ex-presidential candidate Vital Rymasheuski's electoral HQ, a democratic activist Vadzim Kabanchuk is supposed to stand trial on February 15 in the Maskouski district court of Mink. His mother, a Babruisker Taisia Kabanchuk, has informed BelaPAN about this.
According to her, Vadzim Kabanchuk was delivered to the detention center at Akrestsina Street in Minsk at about 7 p.m. on February 4. Taisia Kabanchuk was informed there that her son would stand trial on February 15 in the Maskoiuski district court of Minsk.
Let us remind you, Vadzim Kabanchuk was detained at the border terminal "Kamenny Log". He was transporting 100 bulletins which contained materials about the events happening in the country after the presidential election. The bulletins, published by the Belarusian democratic structures outside the territory of Belarus, were found in the end of the customs checking and confiscated for an expertise, a corresponding protocol was executed.
