Hundreds of people ransack shops before "end of the world" (photo, video)
It has happened in Bariloche, Argentina.
Almost all household appliances, clothes and many other goods were stolen from two supermarkets, the police say. There are no victims and nobody has been detained.
The police could not control the numerous looters. President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner sent the federal forces to the city.
Bariloche is a popular ski resort.
