Lithuanian ministries accuse each other of Byalyatski's accounts disclosure
Lithuanian Minister of Justice Remigijus Šimašius made claims against the MFA for their formal attitude to the Belarusian enquiries.
Šimašius thinks that the MFA did not warn their colleagues in the government about the existing danger, connected with disclosure of information to the official Minsk, “Belarusian Partisan” writes. He said in an interview to the portal BNS, that he was surprised by the statement of the MFA's directive board that there was a practice to address to this institution for consultations "if foreign states' enquiries raise any doubts" since the year 2008.
Let us remind you, the case of Ales Byalyatski, who was arrested under suspicion of non-payment of taxes, made a big resonance in Lithuania. Institutions of this very country passed the information about the human rights defender's bank accounts in Lithuania to the Belarusian side.
