Svyataslau Baranovich’s trial is resumed
The Dec.19 mass riots hearing will continue in Minsk Moscow District Court on October 12.
Svyataslau Baranovich was in the Square on December 19, 2010. He is accused of “participation in mass riots”. Baranovich is facing up to eight years of imprisonment. The previous hearing took place on September 28. The court listened to the evidence given by 10 out of 23 witnesses – members of special police troops that had taken part in the dispersal of the action on December 19. Judge Ala Rudnitskaya decided to listen to all the witnesses, informs Radio Liberty.
