Russia does not exclude that USA and Lithuania conduct secret negotiations about anti-missile defense

Russia does not exclude that the United States conducts secret negotiations with Lithuania about the allocation of elements of the US anti-missile defence on the Lithuanian territory.  The Russian Minister of Foreign Affaires Sergei Lavrov informed about it. According to him, the USA has not given any official reply to the inquiry of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affaires about the negotiations. However, unofficial sources informed Russians that the elements of the anti-missile defense would be allocated in Poland. At the same time, negotiations with Poland are rather slow so there are “back-up variants”, says Lavrov.
