Russia to set gas price for Belarus in September-October: Russian ambassador
The price of the Russian gas for Belarus in 2009 will be set in September-October 2008, Russian Ambassador in Minsk Alexander Surikov said in a statement.
The issue was discussed during the meeting between Belarus and Russian presidents, but final decision was yet to be made in fall due to oil price fluctuations. Surikov noted Russia and Belarus would also discuss a new loan after agreeing on the gas deal, reports Interfax
