Russian Ambassador: Russia to supply gas to Belarus in any case

Gas will be supplied to Belarus even if both sides fail to agree on its price at the beginning of the year. The Russian Ambassador to Belarus Alexander Surikov has claimed it. According to the ambassador, Russia cannot stop gas supplies as the contract has been signed and the supplies have been scheduled by 2011.

Alyaksandr Surykau doubted that the price for gas would be 240 dollars for 1 thousand cubic metres in Belarus. At the same time he evaded to make guesses about the price.
