Russian gas to cost Belarus $119 – Sergei Kupriyanov
Russian gas will be supplied to Belarus for 119 dollars for one thousand cubic meters in the first half of 2008. The announcement has been made by a representative of Gazprom Sergei Kupriyanov in his interview with the TVTS TV company today.
An anonymous source from the Russian company informed about it earlier. It was noted that “the price of gas for Belarus was the lowest price in the CIS at the moment”.
Let us remind you that President Vladimir Putin claimed that the price of gas for Belarus would not be increased more that it was mentioned in the signed contracts. He made the remark during his visit to Minsk.
