Presidential contenders Andrei Sannikau and Ales Mihalevich have supported Alyaksandr Milinkevich’s appeal to announce a Day of National Mourning for the “Pinsk Wood” enterprise blast victims, reports “Nasha Niva”. Let us remind you that the number of the victims of the explosion that occurred in one of the workshops of the enterprise on October 25 has reached 14 people.
Andrei Sannikau’s has made a statement in connection with it: “The explosion in Pinsk and the casualties at the “Pinsk Wood” factory is a tragedy for the whole Belarus. I would like to sympathize with relatives and friends of those who died or were injured in the explosion. I support Alyaksandr Milinkevich’s appeal to announce a Day of Mourning for the victims of this tragedy”.
Aleh Mihalevich has noted: “State mass media pay less attention to this incident than to an ordinary visit of the leader of the Russian communists Mr. Zyuganov. I am sure Mr. Zyuganov would be the first person to ask to announce national mourning if it happened in Russia. I would like to join Alyaksandr Milinkevich and to ask the President of the Republic of Belarus to announce a Day of National Mourning for the victims on November 2”.
