School to be situated in sports complex for economy reasons in “Minsk-City”

A school will be built in a sports complex in “Minsk-City”. The capital sanitary service has approved the corresponding decision. The project will allow to save land in the first place, informs the Belarusian State Broadcasting Company. According to the norms, schools should be situated on a territory of at least three hectares. Half of the territory is occupied by stadiums functioning only in summer.
 

According to the new variant, a single complex consisting of a sports core – a swimming pool, sports grounds and a stadium and three buildings for 1000 people each will be built. The elementary, middle and high schools will be situated separately in them. Inhabitants of the residential area will be able to use the sports objects.
