Suit brought against former prosecutor of Minsk Region Mihail Snehir

Former prosecutor of Minsk Region Mihail Snehir is accused of a crime. He is accused of power abuse (part 3 of article 424 of the Criminal Code) and he has been detained. The maximum punishment for M.Snehir is 10 years of imprisonment and confiscation of his property.

Nothing has been said about the deputy attorney general Mikalai Kupyyanau yet. It is only known that he was in Minsk last week and was not detained.

Let us remind you that Snyahir and Kupryyanau were mentioned in the recent “anticorruption scandal”.
