Supreme Court to pronounce verdict concerning the case of beating of chief inspector of our country
The Supreme Court will pronounce the verdict concerning the case of beating of the chief inspector of the country Zyanon Lomats, reports “Interfax”. Let us remind you that the attack against the head of the State Control Committee took place in Mahileu in summer. The attackers were detained and it turned out that they were KGB and Security Council members. The closed trial took place in Supreme Court on October 5.
According to the Attorney General Pyotr Miklashevich, the case was started according to art. 455 of the Criminal Code “Power abuse and violence”.
Two of the three KGB members and one member of the Security Council were taken into custody.
