Vitsebsk opposition conducts solidarity action with victims of plane crash near Smolensk
Vitsebsk deputy contenders Ulad Varanetsaki and Nastassya Sotnikava organized an action of solidarity with the victims of the plane crash near Smolensk on April 15. BelaPAN informs that the action was conducted in “John Paul II Polish House”. The candidates installed banner with portraits of the Polish President Lech Kaczyński and his wife Maria as well as the complete list of the victims (97 people).
According to the candidates who are also members of the steering committee for the creation of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party, the death of the presidential couple and the majority of the government is a great loss, pain and disaster for the Poles and Belarusians.
