“Yunatstva” and “Keramin” are leaders of Belarusian Cup after three rounds
Minsk clubs “Yunatstva” and “Keramin” are leaders of the Belarusian cup after three tours of the Belarusian Hockey Championship. One more round took place on Monday.
“Yunatstva” defeated “Vitsebsk” that made no score in the first group – 3:0, “Neman” defeated “Shynnik” – 5:2 and “Metallurg” managed to defeat the seasons’ newcomer Salihorsk “Shahtsyor” only thanks to penalty shots.
As a result, players from “Yunatstva” have scored 9 points and occupy the first position. “Shahtsyor” has seven points and is in the second place, “Neman” is third and “Metalllurg” is fourth. “Vitsebsk” and “Shynnik” are at the bottom of the first group’s table.
“Himik-SKA” that defeated “Brest” and “Homel” that scored its first points thanks to its victory over “Keramin” celebrated a victory in the second group.
Nevertheless, Minskers are the leaders of their group. They are followed by “Himvalakno” with 6 points, “Homel”, “Himik-SKA” and “Brest” that is losing at the moment. The fourth round will take place on August 12, the fifth one – on August 15 and the final where the winners of the groups will compete will take place on August 19.
