A Belarusian man was detained near the factory of French company Delair, which manufactures drones and supplies them to Ukraine. The man was filming a drone prototype on camera, reports Le Parisien, citing sources.

The Belarusian had been spotted near the facility on several occasions. At the time of his detention, he was reportedly found carrying "advanced equipment." He had sent the recorded footage to a Russian national.

Our compatriot was arrested on suspicion of espionage and a serious violation of the rules governing access to a restricted defense production zone.

A few days earlier, on June 1, unknown individuals threw several Molotov cocktails at the rear of the Delair factory building. The bottles reportedly did not explode, and the facility suffered no significant damage.

Investigators are looking into whether the two incidents are connected.
