30% of voters voted early at Ramanchuk's polling station
A presidential candidate Jaraslau Ramanchuk has cast his ballot at the polling station No. 76 in the Soviet district of Minsk at midday. The UCP Chairman Anatol Liabedzka and a great number of journalists, mostly of the Polish media, have accompanied him. Ramanchuk was in a good mood. He voted for himself - "the worthiest candidate". Jaraslau Ramanchuk accidenally met his neighbour at the polling station - an elderly lady, who did not hide she had voted for Ramanchuk as well.
At the same time, approximately 1/3 of voters at Jaraslau Ramanchuk's polling station voted early, informed the Chairperson of the precinct election commission Natallia Shapavalava, to the European Radio for Belarus:
Natallia Shapavalava: “Youth from hostels came to vote early, they were very active. About 400 young people voted within these days. There were also elderly people. About 535 people voted early, and 1540 in total at our polling station, the lists are being verified”.
A photo and audio report from Jaraslau Ramanchuk's polling station will appear soon on Euroradio's web-site.
