Barys Kuchynski: They promised to give me a lift to the post-office but delivered to KGB instead

The KGB representatives detained the activist of the steering committee for creating the party "Belarusian Christian Democracy" Barys Kuchynski in Slonim. He served 15 days of administrative detention  for participation in the action in Minsk on December 19 and just returned to his home city.  Barys Kuchynski has told live on air on Euroradio, that the KGB officers called him on the phone this morning and invited him to visit their office. He demanded a summon. They promised to deliver it. When they delivered the summon, Barys Kuchynski told them he needed to go to the post-office. The KGB representative offered to give him a lift there, but then locked the activist in the car and took his mobile phone away from him.

Barys Kuchynski was delivered to the KGB office. The head of the local KGB department talked to him. He did not introduce himself, neither did the officers who detained the activist. They asked him about his stay in Minsk, about his participation in the street protest action. Kuchynski said they were not too polite, they even called him a "gangster".

Barys Kuchynski was informed he would not be subjected to criminal responsibility yet, but this could change any moment.
